Senora (Sheba) Wyatt
Senora “Sheba” Wyatt, 77, formerly of 225 Oneida Street in Waterloo, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.

Senora was born April 17, 1932 in Missouri to Cindy Hemphill. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Emma and Bob Kincaid in Charleston, Mississippi.

When the Kincaid family moved to Waterloo, Iowa, Senora and her cousin Mattie went with them. She was educated in both Charleston, MS and Waterloo, IA school systems.

Senora met and married EC Wyatt and to this union one daughter, Regina Louise was born. They were a very close mother and daughter team.

Senora was a member of Community Baptist Church in Waterloo. She was a domestic worker for many years.

Senora came to and lived in Chicago, Illinois for a few years, but returned to Waterloo saying Chicago “was not her cup of tea.” While in Chicago she was very close to a special cousin, Mary “Sister” and her family calling Mary “May Hip.”

When someone went to Senora’s home, which was always very clean, it was hard to leave. She would show some of her most treasured items and insist that she give you something to take.

Senora’s last years were at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. To cherish her memory are two aunts, Allie Pearl and Frances Kincaid of Waterloo, Iowa; many, many cousins in the Hemphill, Kincaid and Cooper families; the Community Baptist Church family; and a special friend who has been an angel before and especially during this time, Mrs. Laura Bell Unegbu.

She was preceded in death by her mother Cindy, aunt and uncle Emma and Bob Kincaid, cousin Mattie Cole, and her daughter Regina.
