Don was a great guy and we'll miss him. He was so proud of those grandbabies and talked endlessly about them. He had a heart of gold tucked behind a tough exterior. He had a great sense of humor and jested in fun. He gave us plenty of deer sausage and halloween decorations over the years just to make our day. We are sad to have lost a friend like Don. We will remember him with fondness.

Heather, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I was reading the obit. and I didn't know if that was your Dad or not, until I read the article. You have my deepest sympathy. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time in your life. I've always enjoyed joking around with Don. He always made me laugh.Even though I don't work at Ravenwood but I still miss the residents who I've gotten to know. Remember I'm just a phone call away if you need to talk. You take care and God Bless. Kathy Masteller
