Arthur E. Price, 80, of Waterloo, formerly of Washburn, Iowa, died at Allen Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2011 of natural causes.

He was born January 30, 1931 in Stanton Township, Wisconsin, son of Arnold and Elsie Grutt Price.

Art married JoAnn Johnson on February 10, 1951 at the First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

He attended Colfax High School. Art worked as a machinist for John Deere Manufacturing Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1987.

Art was a charter member for Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washburn.

Art is survived by his wife JoAnn of Waterloo; son Rick and his wife Susan of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; daughter Terri Steinke and her husband Gary of Urbandale, Iowa; son Wayne and his wife Patricia of Des Moines; son Gary and his wife Doreen of Mukwonago, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren: Jason Price, Adam Steinke, Tyler Steinke, Tanner Price, Nicholas Price, Kaitlyn Price, and Kyle Price. He is also survived by three sisters: Adeline Hilson of Seattle, Washington, Arlene Hones and her husband Roger of Colfax, Iowa, and Charlotta Anderson of Port Orchard, Washington; brothers:Orville and his wife Frieda of Seattle and Manville and his wife Myrna of Elk Mound, Iowa; and sister in law Darlene Price of Eau Claire.

Art is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Elmer, Arnold and Willard.
