Biography Information
Pamela Sue Houston, 50, of Aurora, Colorado, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 6, 2011.
She was born August 8, 1961 in Waterloo, daughter of Don and Gwen Simpson Edgerton. Pamela married John Houston in 1989; they later divorced.
Pamela graduated Waterloo West High School in 1979 and UNI with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She had worked at Scheels Sports at Crossroads Mall.
She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece - she leaves behind her Courtney Houston, and Matthew Houston, both of Aurora; parents Don and Gwen Edgerton of Waterloo; sister Paula Cygan of Burnsville, Minnesota; nieces and a nephew: Whitney (Matt) Schwartz, Haley Leverington, Meredith Leverington, and Chase Leverington; aunt Marcia Simpson of Iowa City; and many friends.

I am so sad to hear this news. I enjoyed working at Ace Hardware with you & Pam when we were teenagers; such a nice girl. I will never forget her sweet smile and sweet demeanor.
