Biography Information
Lori L. Papenheim, 52 of Evansdale, Iowa, died at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, on Sunday, November 13, 2011, of natural causes.
Lori Lynn Peterson was born May 23, 1959 in Charles City, Iowa, daughter of Wayne "Pete" and Betty Beaumont Peterson.
She married Gene Papenheim in July 2004 in Evansdale. She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1977. Lori owned and operated Lori's Place in Evansdale for 10 years.
She is survived by her husband Gene Papenheim of Evansdale; son Jason (Kassandra Einfelt) Peterson in Waterloo; brother Mike Peterson of Cedar Falls; nephew Chris Peterson of Evansdale; and her mother Betty (Dave) Beaumont of Evansdale. Lori is preceded in death by her father Wayne "Pete" Peterson.

To JP and family, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to you and your family. Your mom was a person that I have gotten to know throughout the years. She was a very kind and caring person. She was a fun loving person who really cared. I feel it was a honor to have know her and to know some of her family. She will be truely missed, but never forgotten. Lori you are truely gonna be missed, just cant imagine that u are gone, i just cant believe it.Lori was an awesome person, she made u laugh,when u needed her she was there,Lori did alot for people, she was a caring women,working with her was awesome,i just loved going into work and seeing lori, when i was down she cheered me up,lori would do anything for anybody.R.I.P Lori we at STATION MART are gonna miss you?

There aren't enough good things anyone can say about lori. She had the biggest heart and always opened it to anyone that needed something. I had the blessing of working side by side with lori for two years and she made my days so much brighter I and so many others will miss lori.

To Gene, Jason, Kassie, Mike, Chris, Family and Friends,
It's so hard to believe she is gone, but she is free of pain, and at peace. She was such a loving, caring, giving person to everyone she knew. She always had that big smile and a huge hug for anyone!! She was a loving mother, wife, and best friend and we will remember all the good times, and some of the bad. I couldn't of asked for a better friend, who I love dearly and I'm going to miss her so much. If you ever need anything call me and I will be there for you. Love all of you and til we meet again Lori, keep the beer cold!!! RIP

I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy for you loss!!!! Lori was a terrific person and one of the kindest I have met. I went to Station Mart every single day for my pop and Lori always had a smile for my little boy and I. She was always happy and always made my day!! I will deeply miss Lori!

Gene & Family: I share your loss of Lori. She had a never ending smile and when she attended my Karaoke Shows, we always gave each other a BIG HUG. I will miss her terribly. Her smile, passion, numerous friends and the love of her family. I think the last time I saw her was at Lofty's and we sat together and talked, but I had no idea she had health problems. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I just heard about it otherwise I would have made a personal appearance to send my regards. We didn't always see eye-to-eye but I did think she was a very nice, happy woman who loved all of her family with all her heart.
