Biography Information
Clarice E. Crouse, 83, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, December 28, 2011.
She was born November 8, 1928 in Lime Springs, Iowa, the daughter of Curtis and Emma Begeman Tibbals. Clarice married Darrell F. Crouse on May 9, 1948 in Chester, Iowa.
She graduated from Chester High School in 1946. Clarice taught art classes in her home from 1979 to 1993 with up to 30 pupils a week.
She is survived by her husband, daughter Julie Kime of Independence, Iowa, sister Tressa Alberts of Lime Springs, sister Frances Poppenga of Lennox, South Dakota, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Clarice is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Edith Alberts and Effie Morris, and brother Curtis Tibbals.

Oh, what a dear friend and wonderful neighbor Clarice was. When we lived next to each other I knew if I had any problem Clarice and/or Darrell would be right there for me. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Darrell, Julie and family.

Our sympathy to you and your family. We were sad to hear the news, but my first thought was what a happy day in heaven it must be. We bet she has told a thousand jokes by now. We will never forget her!!
