Biography Information

Jane Baldwin, 88, of  NewAldaya Lifescapes, formerly of New York City, died there Wednesday, January 18, 2012. 

She was born June 24, 1923 in Waterloo the daughter of Clarence and Genevieve Strayer Baldwin.

Miss Baldwin graduated from West Waterloo High School 1941 and received her BA in Journalism from the University of Iowa with in 1944.  She worked at for NBC News and Tele-Q Corporation in New York City  and was an Administrative Assistant and Wedding Coordinator at Central Presbyterian Church in New York City until 1999.

Survivors include cousins: Tom Pearson of Hudson; Liz Rath Miller of Cedar Falls; Dick Mawe of Auburn, Indiana; and Bill Mawe of Clive.

Preceded in death by: her parents, step‑mother Marie Baldwin, and brother Clark Baldwin
