Dick lived his life as a kind, decent and giving man. He was an example for me and I will miss his friendship. What a celebration must be going on now for another of God's children has entered the kingdom. : ) God's speed to you and your family.

To the family of Dick King:

I was very pleased to meet and get to know Dick King these past eight years. He was fun loving and very caring and I was fortunate to be able to work with him on Exchange Club projects and in one of his favorite passions at the arboretum. I know heaven awaits his presence with honor and may the Lord bless you all as you deal with your personal loss.

While on vacation, our Waterloo friends told us of Dick's death. We offer our sincere condolences to Mary and the "boys" and extended family. Such a wonderful man, dear friend, great "spokes" compatriot. May God's blessings shine on him and on the family. With love from Jim and Judy

My sincere condolences to Dick's family. His counsel, encouragement, and good humor will be missed, but the influence of his friendly advice and fruits of his engineering skills will always be present with all of us, even with those who never had the opportunity to get to know him.

Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. This is one of the most difficult things we must face in our life. May it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. God assures us at Psalms 34:18 that he is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. Jesus also promises that we will be able to see our loved ones again. Jesus own words found at John 5:28,29 tells us there will be a resurrection. What a wonderful hope! God says that soon on the earth there will be no more pain, suffering and especially death at Revelation 21:3-5 We anxiously await the day when we will no longer lose those we love. May these bible thoughts bring you comfort at this most difficult time.

My condolences to you Jerry and Sherri. I didn't know your father but I know you. Knowing you, the loving and wonderful father you are to your children is a tribute to your father. You must have had a good model in him. I know he is with the Lord and you will see him again. May the peace of Jesus Christ that surpasses all understanding remain with you through this time of grief. When you grieve with your family may the Holy Spirit make the joy you shared in his lifetime ever present and everlasting.

Our sympathy to you Mary and your family. Dick was truly a diamond in this world! We have wonderful memories of all our bike trips and hoping Dick would be at the next cornfield with food and drink. How could we forget all the Wednesday nights at Splash for our family picnics. Wonderful memories that have shaped our lives.
Peace and blessing to all. Connie and Duane Tiede
