Betty was a wonderful employee at the YWCA working in our Family Center.  She was great with the babies, toddlers and young children.  I saw her a few years ago in HyVee.  She was using her walker and I asked her how she was doing.  She said she "was fine and had all the perks of growing older".  I always thought that was a positive way of looking at getting older.
