Dude (as we all called him) was a hell of a guy. Growing up i remember he was a quiet man and actually he kind of scared me. I was taught too ask permission to walk through his yard to go visit my cousin. We lived in a very small neighborhood, but walking through his yard was always so much faster. The first time i seen him outside andasked him frightened me, but he did not say no. In his warm and clam voice he said sure, no problem. After that,no more fear. It wasn’t until i moved out of the house i found out his real name wasn’t Dude, but it was Cecil. Cecil, it was a pleasure knowing you and the old neighborhood won’t be the same. May you RIP.

Cecil was always helping someone. many times he would help out when someone couldn't afford to pay a garage for a tow or the repairs even when he wasn't  feeling the best I will miss visiting and working with him.

I will never forget our Sunday chats at Fred's Pronto, when you would make your weekly diet Dr. Pepper run. You will be missed my friend. Rest easy.
