Connie (Frances Adele) Webber, 88 of Waterloo, died at her home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. She was born February 5, 1930 in Pasadena, California, daughter of Fred and Martha Whirry Korte. They moved to Waterloo and she attended West Waterloo schools and graduated from Pitzes School of Cosmetology.

In 1950 Connie married Kenneth Christiansen, they later divorced. On June 15, 1963, Connie married Jacob “J.B.” Wightman; he died November 22, 1980. Connie married John “Willie” Webber on March 15, 1985 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Of her jobs, Connie’s favorite was being an aide at Schoitz Memorial Hospital for nine years, retiring in 1985. She loved caring for and helping people. Connie loved nature, animals - especially her different dogs and cats over the years, flowers, music, and all things decorative.

She loved traveling in her and Willie’s motor home out West and spending time at their cabin in Faribault, Minnesota. One of her favorite pastimes was attending grandchildren’s school and sport events and the visits from all of her out-of-town family. Connie always said that she was blessed with a very fulfilling life!

Connie is survived by her children, Doug (Sharon) Wightman of Waterloo, Jon G. (Norma) Wightman of Cedar Falls; Cindy Saucerman of Kansas City, Missouri, and Suzanne “Sue” Neebel of Waterloo; Barb A. Wightman of Waterloo; Jon K. Wightman of Monticello, Minnesota; daughter Wendy J. (Brad) Peterson of Waterloo; special friend Cherie Derbyshire of Waterloo; twenty grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. As well, Connie was blessed with great great grandchildren and more due to come.

She was preceded in death by her husband “Willie”, brother Roger, and her beloved dog Suki Mai Lee.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
