Thoughts and Prayers to the Siddens family. Joyce was my freshman teacher for business at west high, I still remember some of the stories she would tell of family and her husband.  May she now rest in peace with him.

Dear Erica, Kara and all the family,Wayne and I send our deepest condolences for the loss of your Mom. Joyce always dressed you two impeccably and everything was so organized for your days you spent with me and the boys!

I always enjoyed having you at our home, and you were always so happy to see your Dad or Mom to pick you up to go home.

Your Mom was a very special lady. She and Wayne started teachimg at West High the same year. I knew your Mom from West High, as she was a senior when I was a sophmore. Sending prayers and love to all.

My heartfelt sympathies and prayers to your family.  Mrs. Siddens was my typing/shorthand/business teacher at West High (1985-1989).  She was such an amazing teacher - always so sweet, patient and kind to everyone.  I think of her always when I'm using the typewriter at work as well as doing shorthand here and there.  One of my favorite teachers!

Hi Siddens Family:  I have known both Joyce and Bob for probably 45 years.  Both were such special people.  Joyce was the picture of grace, thoughtfulness, and loved both her students and all the famiys' children and cared for Bob so very much.  I can remember writing your letter of recommendation Kara, and your mom was so proud.  At West High, she would correct every students daily typing, and that big typing room held lots of students, and there were multiple classes.  She would help Bob with the tons of paper work, as the District would not give him secretarial help even though the ninth grade students were moved in, and then girls sports grew.  Joyce worked so hard, and people loved her for it. She got Bob's trophy room all in great shape on the river home.  Certainly there are hundreds if not thousands of wonderful memories.  She was very proud of her father that also worked at West High.  Joyce was a true lady, So Gracious and kind, A Wahawk, A Mohter, A Teacher, A Wife, and probably a hundred other descriptors could be thought of for her.  You did life proud, Joyce.  Tom Arthur

Was so sad to see the loss of Mrs. Sidden. She was one of my teacher's, I also read that her husband had passed also. He was one of my driver's ed teacher's. They were both great teacher's and good people.

What a shock to hear this news.  Joyce was one of my mom's closest friends when it came to the wrestlers' wives.  Bless her heart to have spent so many years tagging along to countless wrestling gatherings.  She lit up the room with her grace and beauty. She will be missed!

I am so sorry for this loss.  I'm praying that the entire family will find moments to celebrate the life of this wife, mother and friend.  I was one of Bob's wrestlers from West and a pastor at the church he and Joyce attended for years.
