I was Maddie's neighbor for 16 years, I was the "young kid" that moved in next door and purchased the home from her longtime neighbor Opal. Over the years I got to know her and had a lot special memories.  Maddie told stories of how the neighborhood had formed and who lived where over the years.  She watched over my house as I was gone a lot. We talked plants and flowers a lot. She enjoyed being outside and watching me do yard work.  Now it seems i'm not the kid any more and ill be telling this is where Maddie lived. I'll always remember her as my first neighbor and friend.  My condolences to the family.

Madeline was my cousin on her birth Father's side.  My Mother was Eli's sister.  We spent many, many days together in our youth.  Our families were very close while Eli was alive.  I will always cherish my closeness with Madeline.  Every time I visited Iowa in the past few years we would get the whole family together and relive those memories.  Will always cherish those memories.

    My condolences to your family.
