I always enjoyed visiting with Rick when shopping at HyVee on University Avenue. His smile and ability to make you feel important stand out. I have many memories of Rick and the Weber family when we were neighbors on Ardmore Street in the early years. I'm glad I was able to see him several weeks ago. The same smile and friendly personality despite the prognosis. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.

I always enjoyed working with Rick at HyVee. He was always smiling, was quite a joker, and ran around like the Energizer Bunny. He made it fun to be at work and always told me he appreciated the work I did, something you don’t hear often from your boss. Prayers of comfort to Julie and the family. You have your HyVee family there for you.
