Bob loved playing and listening to music; a love he instilled in his children. He enjoyed boating and spending time on the river, fishing, cars, and Iowa Hawkeye Football & Wrestling and Panther Wrestling. He loved his family. His children and grandsons meant everything to him. Bob would travel all over the state to watch his children's wrestling and volleyball tournaments when they were younger.

Seeing Bob's obituary in the paper the other day was painful and unexpected. However, a wave of happy memories and good times spent with Bob and the entire Smith family left me with a little grin on my face. Bob was a true throwback. He could captivate you with an amazing story, teach you something about life, or have you doubled over with laughter.

Deepest condolences to the entire Smith family

    Peace & Love
