Bernard and Arlene were our next door neighbors growing up and I always looked forward to playing with Robin when she came to their house. She was a great kid and from the others' remarks it sounds like she went on to become a great adult. I'm so sorry for your loss.

our family is deeply saddened to hear of the loss of such an amazingly kind, selfless woman. She helped me with my children when i did not have daycare, and the kids always said how cool she was and how she made the best brownies. She also raised some amazing kids who reflect her kindness as well. God surely gained light in his kingdom with her arrival. God bless the family and sending comfort to your broken hearts.

Oh Robin, I’m just so sad. We all are. How could we not be? You have been a blessing to so many of us. I feel very lucky that I had the chance to reconnect with you off and on over the last 8 years as we went to go visit our friend Lisa Lee(Seng Lee). I’ll miss your silly sense of humor, your giving heart, your beautiful soul, and your smile that lit up any day, no matter what kind of day either of us were having. Please know that I will keep your sweet family and friends in my prayers; that they might receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit.  Sending much love and many condolences to Robin’s family and friends.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4  ...the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

I am still in shock. My buddy is gone. I am heartbroken and saddened as I am sure everyone else is too. I'm still so angry, at who, I don't know.  My tears have been coming and going and the one person who I would look to for wise words and understanding is the one that's gone.  It's just not fair. I'm completely dumbfounded and unprepared to let Robin go. I can't imagine how Ryan and the kids are doing. I'm a hot mess. Robin was good as gold. She helped me become a better person and a better Christian and led by example.

Robin is a friend of our family...she met our daughter, Jennifer Kirk, in school and their friendship has endured through good times and bad. Robin lost her mother and then Jennifer lost her brother, and a year later Jenny lost her biological father a year.  Robin and Jenny took turns reminding each other that God was watching over them and carrying them through hard times.  Rabin was delightful, thoughtful and genuine...she was the epitome of a wonderful, Christian and she will be missed beyond measure.

My name is Mohammed Tamimi from Palestine. Robin is a good friend of mine. We went to the University of Northern Iowa together and we spent great time along with Lisa Lee, Chandra Pohle, and Jennifer Kirk. Such memories won’t go away after her departure. Robin will always stay in our heart and thinking.

I am so sorry for this loss. I share my condolences with Ryan, the kids and family. I pray that God bless her soul and send her to heaven. Amin

I am at a loss for words, and have been since I heard the news. No and why have been my main vocabulary, as I'm sure many are familiar with at this time.

So, instead of my inadequate words, I will leave you with the verse that God has been pointing out to me as He reminds me that comfort won't come from this earth. My prayers are with you all and I continue to ask that the Lord will bring us all peace.

John 14:27: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
