To family and friends of Tim Schlicht: both of us through recent years have very much enjoyed being a friend of Tim. We both enjoyed visiting with him in California in 2014 and reminiscing about the years prior when his parents, Larry and Joy lived here in Sac City. However time and life changed all of us in many ways, but Tim remained a faithful, caring friend!

Our deepest condolences to all family and friends of Tim Schlicht! Tim will be greatly miss by many!

    In caring friendship,

    Martin & Sharon (Zimmerman) Pearson

Tim was a great friend. I met Tim about 17-18 years ago at work. I was his dispatcher and he was a driver. We clicked over our shared love of rock music. Tim was an awesome musician that literally could play anything from classical music to death metal and everything in between. I was always in awe of that ability. Tim taught me the basics of bass guitar, and I even played in a couple of bands after that...he was a patient teacher. Over the years, Tim "followed" me to several jobs where I brought him aboard because he was a valuable driver to me, because unlike alot of his fellow drivers, Tim had common sense and I didn't have to explain everything to him...he knew what I needed and did his job. Tim also liked to "have a good time" and we shared many of those times too. I will miss Tim greatly. I was shocked at his passing, but I was very happy that I was able to spend some time with him only a couple of months ago. We went to a Dodger game together, and it was his first time at a Dodger game. we had a great time, and Tim was like taking a little boy to the game for the first time. He truly enjoyed it. RIP...miss you buddy.

I am very sad to hear of Tim's passing he was an amazing man and a great guitarist. We talked for hours sometimes. I only got to hang out with him once in person when I went to California. I did a painting for him many years ago for one of the albums he was working on and I think the subject of it would be more emotional now than ever. He will be dearly missed. RIP Tim

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible.  (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29)  Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death.  (Revelation 21:4)  I hope that reflecting on these thoughts and your wonderful memories will give you some relief during this difficult time.
