Services:

Funeral Mass 11:00 am Friday, October 11 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 705 Main Street, Cedar Falls

Visitation:

4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10th at Locke Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Cemetery:

Burial take place following cremation at Mount Olivet Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice

Biography

Tom "Tommy" King, 61, of Waterloo, died Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck.

He was born May 9, 1958 in Waterloo, the son of Norman A. and Kathleen A. Brustkern King.

Tommy graduated from Hudson High School in 1976. He married Roxanne Weber; they later divorced. He then married Rhonda Good; they later divorced.

He worked various jobs in the area including Winnebago Industries in Forest City and Hy-Vee stores. Most recently as a driver for Quest Diagnostics until his retirement 2018.

Tommy loved his dog Mister. He loved live music and concerts and enjoyed spending time with his brother at the casino.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Tasha (Frank) Crone of Greer‚ SC; a son, Tony (Fatimah) King of Simpsonville‚ SC; five grandchildren, Jake and Jesse Dawes, and Joseph, Farah, and Kloe King; his brother, Dan (Kelly) King of Hudson; four sisters, Becky (Gordon) Overmann of Omaha, NE, Sherry (Russ) Kramer of Kelley, Barbara "Barbie" (Ray) Myers of Gulfport‚ MS, and Jody (Doug Bierman) Sullivan of Meridian‚ ID; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

    Im sorry for your loss and sorry l cant come l just had a 2nd surgery.Tom was definitely one of my favorite friends ever.My silver fox forever.l bet you just made heaven even a better place.Hey babe l will be watching for signs like we talked about.Youre forever in my heart and hey this isnt goodbye cuz l’ll be seeing ya and we will party in the stars.We’ll party like rock stars!
