Barb and family, I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I didn't know him very well - just as Jack's younger brother, but appreciated hearing of his accomplishments in Waterloo through the years.  I know he will be missed.  With sympathy, Alice (Bunnell) Janssen

Bill and I were good friends in high school. He was a popular guy.

I got to meet his parents who were such nice people along with his brother, Jack.

Good times back in the 50's.

I am sad of his passing. Keep your head up, Barb. I know you have a lot of friends to help you through all this.

Bill has a place in my very fond memories of Grandpa and Grandma McNeal's house on Sundays and holidays. He was always fun, energetic, and kind, a perfect cousin. How lucky we all were to have such great memories. I know he will be missed and now he has been able to see Alvetta and Bush. Lots of love to you, Barb, Jenny and TJ, and your families.

We are keeping the Dodd family surrounded in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. Mr. Dodd was my gym teacher, and one of my favorite grade school instructors at Kittrell Elementary school. He also was the principal at Lowell Elementary School while my children were in grade school. Few teachers make lasting impressions on people and students during their career like Bill (Mr.) Dodd did. Our sympathy from Ethan and Janice Akin and Family. 3BY60

    Barb & Family,

I'm so sad to know that one of my heroes has passed away.  I first met Bill as a 3rd grader at Kittrell Elementary, then was lucky to play tennis under his coaching at Orange High, then as a friend on the courts of the Black Hawk Tennis Club, then a friend we'd bumped into at UNI sports and around town.  It was hard at first to transition from calling him Mr. Dodd to Bill...he was such a wonderful mentor; I learned so much from him, most of all kindness.  I'm so terribly sorry for your loss.  We will make a donation to Cedar Valley Hospice in his memory.

    With heartfelt sympathy,

    Becky (Sergeant) & Jeff Etten
